  • This one has a huge bias towards negative aspects, and although the recent changes in Russia can’t be described other than catastrophic, a few positive changes I’ve heard of:

    1. Vkusno i tochka became better. Like really really better.

    2. The government is no longer seen as an agent that cares about people. If we exclude those who worship it as a sacred being, people perceive the relationship with government as transactional at best and repressive at worst. Those who chanted about Donbass and 8 years have finally come into sense.

    3. Children do not relate to propaganda that’s put on them in huge portions. Yes, they may cooperate, they can repeat the exact words they’ve been told but only to question them after. They perceive it as bullshit.
