Well then the court will progress to asset seizure if he doesn’t pay. He doesn’t really need that Scottish golf course, perhaps it could be turned into a public park - or perhaps a country retreat for traumatised US citizens seeking asylum.

Does anyone know how long it takes asset seizures to be processed in the UK?

Judging by the amount it is already in the High Court so doesn’t need escalating, it can go straight to enforcement. However if the judgement is made against him personally and the assets belong to a limited company, it will be very difficult to enforce. This is not to say he doesn’t have personal assets over there. Also, monies can be recovered directly from his bank account (a separate court order will be needed for that).
