The heritage foundation is a terrorist organization.

          This.

This foundation is literally a terrorist organization disguised as a foundation for good. This is just religious extremism tryi g to be more efficient. These groups should be treated no different than how the US treats foreign terrorists

GET THE FUCK OUT OF EUROPE you democracy destroying bastards!! It’s bad enough to see what’s happening to the US right now. FUCK YOU ALL and go to hell where you belong!

What’s the plan against this? It’s pretty clear that this type of grifting works. Hungary kept Orban in power for far too long, and now Romania might be next.

The most direct plan that I’ve seen work is burning down your local heritage foundation office. Of course, it wasn’t an HF office I watched get burned but the French burn everything to a crisp and it seems to work.

It would be a shame if someone were to make a post with their office locations across Europe and share it in all the European communities on Lemmy…

Are they in Europe? I know they have in office in every shithole US State. If they’ve infested Europe all of you should get them out fast. Don’t trust corporations either they fund HF.

I didn’t realize that Coors, the beer, funded the start of the Heritage Foundation.

The beer is shit, but now I know that the entire company is also shit.

is this what cancer looks like on society scale? a right wing organization destroying any attempt at equity so that billionaires can suck up even more of the world’s resources until the point of no return

Renaming the EU, Dismantling the Commission: For What Polish and Hungarian Illiberals Seek U.S. Backing – (March 2025)

The Trump administration’s most influential think tank, The Heritage Foundation, is receiving proposals from illiberal forces in Poland and Hungary on how to shape the future of the European Union. The proposals, obtained by VSquare, include dismantling key EU institutions and renaming the entire bloc.

Addition: Just recognised that the article has already been posted here: https://feddit.org/post/11202077 Sorry the double post.

Do not let this happen. Fight it with everything you have. The US is an example of what happens when those extremist ideas in the heritage foundation are actually put into practice.

I repeat, fuck the heritage foundation, and if you’re in Europe, fight like hell to keep that shit from taking hold.

Who controls the US government, Russia or the Heriatage Foundation? It can’t be both. Or does Russia control the foundation?

                                  1. This is an English-language community. Comments should be in English. Posts can link to non-English news sources when providing a full-text translation in the post description. Automated translations are fine, as long as they don’t overly distort the content.
                                  2. No links to misinformation or commercial advertising. When you post outdated/historic articles, add the year of publication to the post title. Infographics must include a source and a year of creation; if possible, also provide a link to the source.
                                  3. Be kind to each other, and argue in good faith. Don’t post direct insults nor disrespectful and condescending comments. Don’t troll nor incite hatred. Don’t look for novel argumentation strategies at Wikipedia’s List of fallacies.
                                  4. No bigotry, sexism, racism, antisemitism, islamophobia, dehumanization of minorities, or glorification of National Socialism. We follow German law; don’t question the statehood of Israel.
                                  5. Be the signal, not the noise: Strive to post insightful comments. Add “/s” when you’re being sarcastic (and don’t use it to break rule no. 3).
                                  6. If you link to paywalled information, please provide also a link to a freely available archived version. Alternatively, try to find a different source.
                                  7. Light-hearted content, memes, and posts about your European everyday belong in other communities.
                                  8. Don’t evade bans. If we notice ban evasion, that will result in a permanent ban for all the accounts we can associate with you.
                                  9. No posts linking to speculative reporting about ongoing events with unclear backgrounds. Please wait at least 12 hours. (E.g., do not post breathless reporting on an ongoing terror attack.)
                                  10. Always provide context with posts: Don’t post uncontextualized images or videos, and don’t start discussions without giving some context first.
