The world needs a lot fewer nuclear weapons, preferably zero, to be sure. But nobody seems particularly keen on giving them up, and if Israel has them Palestine - even if it becomes a state - will always live in the shadow of Israel’s military power.

If Israel didn’t have diplomatic cover by way of the US’s security council veto it might, but yeah.

Spain was the first requesting to recognize Palestina as State and that Israels atacks are a genocide. The Spanish top Diplomat Josep Borrell said that Hamas was funded and supported by the Israel gov. Sadly not all of the EU members are si consistent.
