    Is that not the suspended deputies describing the act as incompatible with Jewish values? I’m not sure whether “the act” here is the attack on Gaza or the suspensions, though. It’s a very poorly-written sentence on the part of the article’s author

      Yes, I also read it as the attack on Gaza being the thing described as incompatible with Jewish values. I almost downvoted the guy’s comment before I realized he misread it.

      Thanks for pointing that out! Yeah, I totally mistook “they” to mean the board, not the suspended members. To the suspended members, I say “finally. Thank fuck.” The best time to stop a genocide is before it starts, but the second best time is right fucking now.
