Yeah, more CO2 in the atmosphere and higher temps would be absolutely terrible but somewhat “livable”, but acidic oceans ? If most plankton and algae die, we’re done and there would be nothing we could do about it.

The great thing about low pH oceans is that it would snowball so quickly once it gets past a certain threshold, that we would have barely any time to react. It would kill us all in a matter of months at most.
