Sometimes I also add a folding bluetooth keyboard, mini bluetooth mouse, and USB drives, but that’s only when I’m gonna use the Deck as a computer for 3D modeling or typing tasks.

I have nothing against the original, I used it for a few months and it works great. I switched to a different case when I got a different charger and other cords to use with the external battery I added to the ‘entourage’ for the Deck. The original case didn’t have the room for all that, and things like earbuds didn’t like to stay in the elastic hollow of the original. Wasn’t a big deal, but it was a noticeable change after switching cases.

Buy a nice case for transporting it. I like my JSAUX case, it has alot more storage space then the stock case.

It lost steering power, not electrical power. Kinda like all the warning lights in your car turning on at once and the engine shutting down, even though the headlights are still on.

I agree, the nature of the convictions should be a factor. I also agree that a sort of “cooldown” from a conviction would be reasonable, before having eligibility for holding political office restored. I’ve been leary of the simplified “convicts shouldn’t hold office” statement though, since the original intention of that lack of disqualification criteria was, to my understanding, to prevent political imprisonment from barring opponents from holding office. That seems like the sort of thing the current administration would jump on if they could, as well.

I don’t have an issue with a public servant holding office and having a criminal record. People make mistakes, and people can change. However, I think the fact the current president has made public and copious comments about dismantling the democracy that exists while showing a blatant disdain for the rights of people, that I have an issue with.

I actually haven’t used anything that makes use of the Deck microphones yet, do they work well for this?

Go into desktop mode, open the menu and use the search function to look for “Nested Desktop”. Now right click and add that to Steam. When you boot into Game mode, you’ll see a new item added called Nested Desktop, which you can open to access desktop mode while still in game mode. I found out about this a week ago and so far I use it most for referencing my digital game guides or searching NMS portal codes while still gaming.

Make sure to check out “Nested Desktop mode”, it’s a great way to have faster access while in the default Game mode

It essentially is a replacement for a mouse, I set FreeCAD to use Blender input settings since I’m used to those. It’s one without a screen, just a USB that I use with a kickstand hub on my Deck. I picked it because it was cheaper then a screen style drawing tablet and it would help most with Blender for modeling organic sculpture. It was a simple plug-and-play, although the software to enable some extra features was available for Linux and was a snap to add. I experimented using it with FreeCAD and it’s pretty similar to using a mouse, so I don’t need both inputs taking up table space.

I use it for 3D modeling using a BT keyboard and a drawing tablet. Works great with Blender and FreeCAD both.

Mobile players do it on the go. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I haven’t found a bluetooth set that works well with the deck yet. Everything seems to have a second of lag in the headphones when on bluetooth, that I never experience with wired. I’ve used both an old pair of Samsung earbuds that cane with an android phone over 5 years ago, which worked fine, and my personal go-to pair of Turtle Beach earbuds, with detachable boom mic. I leave the mic in my case unless I’m using it, and everything works well with that setup.
