Well, if Pakistan got it right this might just be disconcerting enough for India to abort this planned attack . Even if Pakistan didn’t get it right or are maybe even bluffing it might create an international reaction that could cause India pause before any future attacks.
I suspect that’s exactly the reaction Pakistan is hoping for.
I mean, he seems to be hinting at that now, but he can’t really do anything else. “Whoops. Didn’t think this button I pushed would do that” is just not something he is able to say, even if it might be true. Then again it would be difficult doing something this extreme accidentally I would think.
If China stops exporting these to the US that should influence the trade deficit in the way Trump is looking for, right? Isn’t that what this was supposed to do according to Trump? So he should be happy about this, right? Because it’ll bring the manufacturing of the minerals home? /s

It doesn’t help that Tesla are also screwing over the people who buy them. I have heard so many horror stories of what happens when something in your Tesla breaks. Most of it sounds like purchasing a Tesla doesn’t mean that Tesla thinks you actually own that car. Lookup “Tesla right to repair” for just a taste of the mess.
Problem is that lack of places to vote isn’t a bug. It’s a feature. It means people who don’t have access to transport or who have do work during the day have a more difficult time voting. Not everyone has the time to drive somewhere and then stand in line for hours. Republicans have used this as one of their techniques to discourage certain groups of people from voting at all.
Yes he will make people suffer regardless, but I am referring to a difference in the scale of suffering here. There’s ways for him to think he has won without actually winning. Plenty of leaders have used it against him already. Though admittedly this would work better if the media then didn’t follow up with “Haha. Cheeto doesn’t even know he didn’t win”. We might not be able to escape that one for the more public parts of politics. Though he’s trying hard to cut off the media that isn’t on his side and silence them, so who knows really.
Because this particular angry geriatric toddler has access to a lot of ways to make people suffer on a large scale and delights in the suffering of people. Sure, making him feel miserable feels great, but how many lives are you willing to sacrifice for it?
Yep. It’s a big part of why my partner and I opted not to have kids. Not only is not having kids one of the best ways to limit one’s own carbon footprint but I also am deeply worried about the quality of life for us and for all generations after us.
