If so, which ones? I am looking to game and talk to friends over discord on my Steam Deck. No FPS, more bullet hells, ARPGs, etc. Thank you!!

I think its $2.50 right now. You can try it out a little bit and if you don’t like you can always refund?

TIL for me. One of my distant Uncles was adopted from South Korea during 1980s to America. Wow.

I did mine after watching a YouTube video. I thought it looked easy and when I tried it, it was.

But overall CBP looks at funds. If someone can’t afford their stay, they become suspicious.
EDIT: Adding, they ask how much people intend to spend or call banks to verify

I don’t think it is common. I just know it happens.
The process looks like this..
Sort of a good example because it happens to be a traveler going into the United States for vacation, 5 weeks, 1.5k cash, but still denied entry. They always ask for purpose of entry, what itinery looks like, funds, etc.
There’s tons of backpackers, as a one bagger myself, I’ve never had trouble. I think its when you may have limited/no accommodations plus other factors: stories not lining up, limited funds, no/limited knowledge of itinerary, etc. That gets people in trouble. I think most people know where they are going, what for, and how they are going to do it.
Even as a US citizen I’m happy I’m not traveling internationally for a while though. Seems most people are free game regardless to CBP, citizen or not 🤮

I was responding to the original comment above : “Having not fully booked your accommodation for the entire trip could get you denied entry to the US before Trump. Just saying. Especially if you aren’t white. Same with not having an outbound ticket.”
Not to the strip searching, abuse, etc.
I agree it is absolutely heinous what is happening in the US and I wouldnt travel here either but the process of denying entry for a combination of limited/no accommodations, limited funds, varying answers, etc does lead to denial of entry in some countries.

It’s not the only thing. It’s a combination of limited/no living accommodations and no income. If you don’t have the income to stay for 5 weeks for example, they will send you back.I’m talking like going to Australia or US with just $500 or something for 5 weeks. I can cite some episodes when I get off work today and you can see the process.

This. It also gets you denied in Australia and other countries. This is non-news.
Source: Previously my guilty pleasure was watching Border Security Australia Not so much anymore.

I have the JSAUX steam deck dock, Genki Covert Dock Mini for travel (looks like its on sale now for $30!), 8 bit do Ultimate Controller, and Sony WH-1000xm4.
However, I’m not sure why I have to try to reconnect my 8BitDo controller every time I turn it on for my Steam Deck?
Edit: USB C cables with 90 degree angles also help!! I have a 10 feet cord too :)

Cassette Beasts. I tried Brotato its okay but I’m not as much of a fan.

Sonic x Shadow Generations. Loving the Shadow portion so far. Feels like Sonic Adventure stages

Hello! Can you please link the gaming edition? I only really see qc35 for gaming? Is there a qc45 version?

Thank you! Yeah, I’m not looking to play any sound sensitive games like rhythm or FPS. So its good to know the consensus is that most people dont seem to notice it.
970 may be faster but I can play a few more games I couldnt before on the card (Cyberpunk, Balders Gate, etc). The resolution isnt amazing or anything but I just want to play :) Not trying to upgrade ATM, which is a significant investment. Hoping this would help with eventual transition

Thank you! I was wondering how noticeable BT latency is. Unfortunately, my gaming PC is currently outdated (970) and that’s a significant reason why I got a deck. I wanted to play newer games and with my friends again. Setting up audio for a full PC is something I’m more used to than the deck.

I have mine docked under my TV but wow, the DACAmp seems awesome. I had to look that up. More money than I would like to spend but adding it for maybe a future purchase!

Thanks for your comment! I was thinking the XM4 for myself vs. The Bose Quietcomforts with like a V Moda Boom mic but was nervous about the latency and whether there were better set ups to be considered.

Interesting! I didn’t know you can mix the phone and the Steam Deck audio! I’ll have to try that myself too.
Thank you for answering my question. I was wondering if the Bluetooth latency is noticeable but seems fine from what most people are saying.
I was wondering if people that did use headphones did 2.4 wireless vs Bluetooth but it sounds like both should work okay.

I honestly have GeforceNow on my PC so I also have it on my Steam deck. Imo it makes it run much nicer and I can choose which system to play it on.
