From what I’ve heard, there are “Japanese Nationals” only spaces. But there are also many (if hazard to guess a majority of these locations) places that, due to their lack of English skills, put signs that mean to them “Japanese language only”, that is to say, they the proprietors of said location can only speak and write in Japanese, and therefore if you try to speak to them in your language, will not likely be able to service you properly. Some of these places will try their best to service you and let you in as well. Granted there are also places that will deny service if you don’t speak any Japanese, and that is ridiculous, but I’d like to think those places are few and far between as well.

Oh I don’t discount insurgency being a thing, that I think is very likely. I’m just saying that the balkanization process, I don’t see happening for a long time. Balkanization I think sorta implies strong state governors trying to secede. That takes time. That takes drumming up the state nationalisms of Californians, Minnesotans, etc. That takes a radical social movement and drift away from the American identity and culture, and developing one’s own within ones state. Insurgency, probable, balkanization, not yet.

With how everything is currently structured, I don’t think it’s too likely. The people of the individual states that would balkanize, still too strongly believe in a united American nation. The federal government would also have to significantly weaken itself and it’s own powers, and it currently seems to be further centralizing and strengthening itself without regard to and in opposition to it’s people’s political rights and powers.

Decadence? No. Moreso vanity, moreso arrogance, moreso pride is our downfall. The American people feel the need to feel as if they are superior to everyone out there. We fucking placed tariffs on Taiwan. They basically already agreed to cuck themselves and build a chip fab on US soil, thus eventually removing our need to protect them for their chips. But no, we fucked their wife, and now we’re going for their ass too. Vanity, arrogance, pride. We are going down the same path as the Qing. Autarkic, Insular, leading to falling behind and getting fucked.

What the current administration is doing tracks with this video fairly accurately. Basically, “Network States” are what they want. It’s basically what exists in Honduras right now in the form of "Prospera, which is a network state that operates in that country.

Doesn’t that just make it easier for the US to conscript people?
