It could definitely benefit from a refresh - more powerful internals, native support for the new Steam Controller (like the Steam Machine will have), better thumbsticks, etc. The average length between console generations is only 5 years, so it wouldn’t be abnormal to expect one soon.

The Moto X was the best phone I’ve ever used, and thays because they took the time to optimize instead of just throwing more RAM/CPU/GPU at the problem.
There could be Call of Duty, but they’re so focused on selling you skins they can’t make an anticheat that doesn’t require being the NSA.
Yep it’s pretty much better in all regards.
The only downside is no ARC support, but I suppose support for that is pretty hit or miss anyway.
Just be mindful of the xbox controllers as I think it should be very picky about working only with specific versions of the controller, but what version of SteamOS are you on? It’s been on a journey of being enabled and disabled with each update.

It’s nothing but a crutch for developers to detect cheaters. Look at Arc Raiders for example.
There’s no reason your games anticheat shouldn’t be working under Linux.
You could run it fine before, it just required experimental.
Your not going to be high quality at 60fps, but it’s certainly serviceable.
