That’s a good question, it makes me similarly think ‘What happens to the social contract when a nation & government no longer provide security to it’s own citizens?’

Prepare your Trump “I did that” stickers.

based on the impact of war and how people have been living there in Yemen for the past decade, I’d say “3rd world” is a reasonable assumption/classification.

“The cruelty is the point”-As they’ve been saying lately. With increasing frequency.

It’s not a gross oversimplification. If Russian aggression had really been that important there would have been a stronger reaction back in 2014, but back then our military industrial complex was already churning out profits for a different foreign engagement. -An engagement also against brown people.

“After
threeglorious…”
8 years + 3 years*

Yeah? Is anybody going to do anything about it?

I think It’s more of a French puppet state than U.S. as a result of their massive centuries-old debt they accrued when they managed to make themselves independent and end their own slavery. I’m pretty sure it’s hard to maintain a functional government when it’s permanently in debt to another country.

You disgust has a scale that ranks higher than genocide?

“Have you forgotten the social and political unrest Russia has caused in our country? Are you unaware of the money and personnel they invest into destabilizing our country? Should that just go completely unanswered?”
you overestimate the influence russia previously had in our country while simultaneously underestimate the impact of americas history on my own fellow Americans as well as the rest of the world.
Do you seriously think we don’t invest money and personnel in destabilizing russia?
I also didn’t say to eliminate support, but we shouldn’t be leading this charge
“Do you seriously think we should only concern ourselves with Mexico and Canada or something?”
I seriously think we should do what our fellow NATO countries have been doing the past 8 decades and start focusing our attention on improving living conditions at home instead of constantly spending absurd amounts of money to perpetuate this infinitely growing war machine that claims to hold other countries to standards that it can’t even hold itself to.

Ukraine is their neignbor. Being that most of Europe are also NATO members, It makes more sense to me that they be the ones to spearhead this proxy war if anyone should.

" Isn’t there any basic train of thought anymore…"
No, ads, television, and social media destroyed our attention spans.
Now the only tv ads that play are Lawyers ads, Insurance ads, and Pharmaceutical Ads. By comparison, Alcohol ads coming back doesn’t seem half-bad.

“I love football on tv, shots of Gina Lee, hangin’ with my friends, and twins.” …something-something “and I love you too. It’s the love song!”
-Alcohol ads used to have the best jingles.

I’ve never trusted Russia Today to be a fact based news source and more importantly it’s been a long time since I’ve trusted CBS to report on anything that isn’t 100% motivated by their own self-interested drive for profit.
TLDR:
Neither news source involved are known to me to be particularly trustworthy.

Huh, this is spun as a positive, and yet I doubt it is. I’m not sure they have many options. I imagine these assets require a cost to upkeep and maintain and I doubt they have many liquid assets after a decade of civil war.

“How about we ask the majority of Salvadorians what they think?”
When you say “the majority of Salvadorioans” are you including those who are currently imprisoned? If not, then it’s just a matter of imprisoning everyone who disagrees with those in charge…
That’s an interesting excerpt. I always thought the proper response to an identified whatabout is to simply say “I asked you first.” -That’s assuming the opposite party refused to respond to the initial premise, argument, or question. I imagine if they did respond to the initial premise, argument, or question then asking whatabout… is just a standard form of discussion and debate, or so I’d think.
