They lasted for half a day due to the countries they were imposed on wanting to re negotiate trade terms. Trump is pausing at 10 percent for those countries he’s renegotiating with temporarily. He didn’t stop this whole tarriff war ordeal as a whole. Which is what folding would be referring to, meaning he gave up and folded as if his entire plan was a rouse. That was all I was saying.

I fail to see proof anywhere that points to folding due to some sort of outside pressure.

Negotiation was the entire point to get the US better trade deals according to him. For better or worse for his country renegotiation was part of his plan.

Not everyone or everything is tied in a black and white box. Plenty of Russians are against war and the current geopolitcal climate.

It was like a scripted show for everyone except Zelensky. Zelensky was railroaded and talked over. Belittled. This was an embarrassment for the US and humanity as a whole. It shouldnt have been televised. What a sad shit show.

I think this is likely one of the smartest things Trump has ever persued if it comes to fruition even partially a mere slither. The modern battlefield is fought with technology. Using drones/robots and infosec psyop and the list goes on and on.

Conventional war has more risk than worth now days leaves nothing but a pile of rocks nothing to claim but dirt.

While I don’t think anyone will give them up soon sure even bad actors will hodl old means eventually the value prop and cost to maintain will sputter out, we all should know we have been heading that direction for a very long time. Progress no matter how small is a step in the right direction.
