I had something similar happen a few months ago. I went into…I think it’s wine version or something like that, I’ll check when I get home. Anyway I set everything to use the latest version of proton, then went into wine/proton version/download and selected the option to always download the latest version of proton. Seemed to work for me? Not sure if it’s the same thing for you. Someone above mentioned trying to start games with logging switched on. The log should give you a better idea.

I mean…and I’m not disagreeing with you here. They’re facing a manpower issue. And prison should be a way to reform criminals as opposed to punish them. Obviously this is a massively broad statement, and a wild generalisation. There’s absolutely people who aren’t going to be safe to reintegrate with society, but there should be appropriate mental health systems in place for these people.
They are excluding murderers, rapists, pedophiles, traitors and drug traffickers. Leaving final say with judges as to who gets a pardon in exchange for literally putting their life on the line in defence of their home. I’m totally fine with this.
Is there a chance that someone truly irredeemable slips through and does more damage after this is over? Sure. But some of them would be up for release eventually, and might do exactly the same.
Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good.
