The Deck is a regular computer and you can run any OS on it.

I know it seems kinda ironic. But the way to reach lots of people is to post on YouTube. If you want to reach people and stop them from using google you’re not going to reach them on some obscure platform that no one uses.

And the people using those obscure platforms have already degoogled so your basically preaching to the choir if you use them.

So since I’m not really using any of these ai tools. Can someone explain to me if openai is “open source” as it suggests? If so can’t you just see the source code in case they try to ruin it?

I guess an AI can never be truly open in a way? I know this is probably a red flag but I know that a lot of Linux distros which are completely open source are government funded too.

Here is my opinion. I absolutely love playing oblivion on my gaming laptop with RTX4080. It looks gorgeous and so do a lot of games.

That said, I’d rather play on the deck with somewhat less graphics and chill on the couch after a long day of work. I just love the portability. Performance is okay for most games (it even plays oblivion okayish with reasonable graphics). A lot of games are optimized pretty well for it.

I just see it as an open source switch you can do and play anything you like on. I have tried windows on it too but personally it has no benefit for me so I use steamOS.

Is it that hard to understand that people don’t want shit like nuclear power plants, coal plants, methane plants and garbage disposals being newly built near their home?

I live in one of the most crowded countries on earth and even here we have plenty of space where a powerplant wouldn’t be anywhere near a suburb. Or at least in a place where there is already a similar power plant/industry.

Obviously it’s a different situation if you build houses near a power plant that has been there for years.

There are right wing parties here that support Gretas ideas. And left wing parties that disagree with her.

I can completely understand her “both sides are bad” point since politics are wildly different in the EU from the US. We have actually choice here where as the US is just voting for the lesser evil (or the greater evil in case of Trump lol).

Nah… Europe’s countries still have their own laws so you can’t just “take control of europe” like Trump took control of the US. You can’t just appoint a European leader that just destroys everything the predecessor has done.

By giving Hungary to Russia, Russia will gain even more territory in the EU and Hungary is a strategic place for them. Yeah the nuke part was a bit over the top since if they want they can nuke anyone anyway.

If we throw out every country that has a shitty government then putin will just take the EU bit by bit. Don’t forget that populism is on the rise everywhere so any EU country can then fall victim to populism and risk being thrown out. It’s not about Hungary being thrown out its about setting a precedent for other to be removed.

If anything we should sanction Hungary, but removing them would just result in Russia gaining more land.

So Russia can put nukes there? No thanks…

As much as Hungary is a shitstain in the EU, the moment they are thrown out they will join Russia and make things even worse.
