People should be allowed to complain most of the time the complaining helps bring attention to the protest. Otherwise most wouldn’t be known to the public.

It’s so sad that it comes to this in some area’s of the world.

You need to use your government ID to log in and can only vote once. In most(if not all) countries you will not be able to flood it.

I assumed you would boil the pfas out of the water, but thinking about that, it doesn’t make sense, you are right. Idk how people brush their teeth when there is no drinking water out of the tap, but apparently they do it.

If they sell those huge 8L cans in France, it isn’t that bad. They sell those for €0,75 each, so with €80 that is 853 litres of clean and drinkable water per person. That will last them for a year and if it isn’t then fixed they will hopefully get more.
Do they need to stock them up for 3–4 years? That’s a different story, but generally people will not spread their money for multiple years for something like this. Don’t forget that it is taxpayers money/

But how can you hold a company accountable if they use something which at that time was legal and the company followed the law as well.
It is sad to say, but the companies probably go scot free.

15% corporate tax is not even that high. It probably had some other things inside the agreement about how the base for it was calculate. That is uknown to me.
Doesn’t the US have a 21% flat corporate tax anyway?

Yup same, some people don’t believe in some human rights, like portrait right.

Why are the two world wars grouped together? I understand they might not be the most significant war for people in the US, but they are some of the most influencial wars in history and named World Wars for a good reason …
I can ask the same about the VIetnam, Cambodia and Laos wars, but they seem to be in the same timeframe at least.
Pretty sure, the rights that European citizens get based on GDPR also apply when dealing with the government(s). Generally, governments are splintered into multiple parts and every part is only allowed to keep their relevant data.
Anyway, the government as a whole just doesn’t need to know what sites you visit and the companies don’t need to see your personal information or any identifier. If they can just check if that number correspond to a true or false, it’s enough.
If it wouldn’t protect privacy then it wouldn’t be GDPR compliant.
https://ageverification.dev/Technical Specification/architecture-and-technical-specifications/#22-design-principles it is mentioned under 2.2 Design Principles
Note I haven’t read everything about it or seen any code surrounding it.
Depends on how it is done. You know those 2FA fobs that just pass a code every 30 seconds, right? What if you made some kind of fob or chip that you can only get from the government when you are 18+ (here in NL that would be easy because most things are 18plus locked) then if you could use that for online gambling, porn, buying alcohol online, etc. it wouldn’t be linked to your person. If the government doesn’t keep track of who has which fob/card. Which is easy to check if you get an accountant to do a formal audit on them, keeping track or not. I know PureVPN had done an audit like that checking if they kept themselves on their own no logs policy.
There is a certain video about some people and a cup burned into memory, but that video wouldn’t be found on the sites owned by Pornhub, but more the shitty alternative sites who will never comply with rules and regulations.
Just educate kids on sex. The sites from Pornhub are way better than the virus filled alternatives with way worse kinds of porn.

To be fair I don’t live in the US so it’s entirely possible that it hasn’t even been mentioned in my circles.

I disagree it’s a different problem, it’s the same problem besides the gender.

Not sure I know exactly what you mean with what Terry Crews did.
I know you didn’t mention it for nefarious reasons or anything. I just wanted to mention it :P
And yeah we should all respect eachother.

There are some cultures that are so female unfriendly it isn’t funny, some of that has to do with religion and some of that doesn’t. That’s also one of the harsh realities of combating things like this because some people actually grew up and learn that women and worth less or some other kind of bullshit.
The other side of this coin is that in books and articles like this and heck even your comment only women get victimized or men get targeted. Yes statistically men are way more the cause of (sexual) abuse, misogyny or whatnot. Same with that women have it statistically worse partially because of some culture and partially because some people are just dicks and/or sick in their head. Some men (especially gay’s, minorities and insecure people) get (sexually_ abused by women or other men, but that generally flies under the radar way more since they are often not believed.
That’s why I always feel the need to mention it just incase it helps somebody down the line. Let’s do better together!
Still it’s human af to complain just let people do it. It is annoying that you get into trouble because of something somebody else did or didn’t. Especially if your power is limited for whatever way.
Personally I feel that if you enoy people to much they will side against you not for you. You kinda wanna get that balance going so the people with a lot of power are affected and those with little power aren’t.
