Nice! And you remembered its called Flatseal, good! Just FYI, I don’t think installing it as native app would have solved this due to the immutability of SteamOS, I think those apps would get deleted. Installing via Flatpak gets round this issue.

I am assuming your Heroic flatpak install does not have access to those directories. SteamOS is immutable and all flatpacks act like isolated containers. By default I think Heroic cannot see these directories. I forgot where you set that though, there was an app preinstalled already…

It is a nice little game. If you like visual novels/point and click adventure games, you might like this. Plus, the art style is pretty. Not a super long game though and don’t think it has any replayability. It puts a lot of emphasis on the scrapbooking parts but somehow doesn’t actually refer much to it once you are done with each page, so it feels a bit weird making these after a while. My kid enjoyed it though, we played it together.

So you say you took a similar amount of time troubleshooting. Can you tell me why you think sharing knowledge about fixing something should require someone else to spend exactly the same amount of time watching you monologue about it?
Another user posted the critical part what the issue was and how it got fixed in 3 sentences! Making a 9 minute video out of it is just bizzare. If it really has to be a video you could do this in a minute or less and get straight to the point.

True, but then you have to keep playing the same game in order to do that. Doesn’t work all the time either, at least for me. I do appreciate everyone does this their own way so I think it is great that this works comparatively well.

I genuinely didn’t see that one so far, thanks!

Yes, it works so well with emulators!

I couldn’t find a comparison in the article, is it any cheaper than the windows counterpart or did they just keep the price the same? Not that I would ever get one at the price they quoted here.

Never used it, but what I remember about them going to a subscription model, they already made themselves irrelevant.

Dang AI comimg for our jobs steamdecks!

I’m not giving my Steam Deck AIDS to change the startup animation.
I mean, you do you, but the AIDS comparison is quite tasteless.

There is also a Decky plug-in that gives very easy access to already tons of startup movies now.
