Slavery is considered an acceptable form of punishment and our so-called “Justice” system regularly executes innocent people.

So you agree that it’s wrong, but you think it should be encouraged anyway?

For one, it can get you thrown into a gulag by U.S. border patrol, or jailed in any of the states and countries that require one’s birth certificate to match a bathroom door sign.

For another, it’s all the evidence that bigots in positions of power need to assume someone is trans, and people who are thought to be trans face deadly levels of harassment for that alone.

For literally anyone whose appearance doesn’t match their birth certificate regardless of if they are cis or trans.

That’s so unsafe, how is that a middle position?

does the math That’s like 15kg/human. An empty 12-Oz coke bottle weighs about 15 grams, so that’s just about 100 bottles per human per year.

I’ve been burned by too many promises like that to get my hopes up for a political party, but I’ll hear about it if they start acting like they want my support.

The fact that they haven’t started kicking out DINOs and corporate financiers bodes ill for the odds that we’ll see a face-turn.

Sadly, I don’t have your faith that the system will allow us to fix it. It’s not our system, it never was, and the people in power have no reason to abolish themselves and put democracy in charge.

There is no “fixing it”, the real question is how we’ll navigate the interesting times ahead.
