Who knows? No one else is reporting that. I also don’t give established low-cred, highly sensationalized, highly-biased sources the time of day. Mondoweiss is Fox News’s counterpart on the other end of the spectrum – i.e. it’s Fox News for lefties. Just as bad, just different flavor.

I don’t think that’s all of it, but you’re not wrong. Part of it is supply shortage (whether it’s truly real or partially artificial), but there’s definitely an aspect of “this is toilet paper all over again”.

I was getting “December 2019” vibes back in November, so I started stocking up on N95s and toilet paper. This isn’t exactly what I was preparing for, but I’m prepared nonetheless.
