Easily one of the best games of the 2010s. If you have any interest in supernatural fiction (eg SCPs, X-Files, etc) and physics based action shooters, give it a shot.

  • What an absolute steal! Control is worth every penny, even at full price. Don’t skip this one.

  • Going against the grain, I found this game dull with simple mechanics that didn’t upgrade. Gave it five hours of pistol/telekinesis combo. Plus wandering around the mostly dry office building setting - I gave up. The infected? zones had nice graphics but that was a pretty minor part of the game.

Yeah, the story, atmosphere, and world building is why I finished the game. I’m looking at the TTRPG Triangle Agency. Visually, it shares some atmospheric characteristics to Control.

What’s the latest on the Control sequel? Feel like I heard rumblings about it some years back.

      No love for FBC: Firebreak?

I do not have any solid information on Control 2

Ohmy, where have I been? Never heard of Firebreak! Thank you!

Edit: Multiplayer…that’s why it wasn’t on my radar.

        • It’s doable solo, especially on easier modes, but I mostly play with my one friend, games support up to 3 players. They’re releasing a big rebalance and change to how the lobby works in a month or two. It’s not a huge in depth game and it’s very light on lore but I have a blast playing it

  • Control and Alan Wake are the only reason I even have a favorite game studio, and probably the only one I’d actually do a pre-order with just to support development.

Id buy them both again if I could

  • The brutalist architecture, running around making a mess of all the ordered offices, telekinesis! Awesome vibes. The DLCs weren’t my cup of tea though.
