    Highly recommend the mod ‘Tale of Two Wastelands’ that combines FO3 and NV in the NV engine, and allows you to freely travel between the two, as well as gather all the companions from both games. The only requirement is having both games installed.

      I am playing it right now and I can also recommend Tale of Two Wastelands!

      I just finished up the main story and DLCs in Fallout 3 and just got to New Vegas. This is my first time playing any of those games.
